At last week’s AIM Awards dinner, held in London, Escher Group Holdings plc, a world leading developer and provider of software for the postal industry, won the award for ‘Best Newcomer’.
Chrystal Capital acted as joint fund raiser for Escher when it floated on AIM in August 2011, raising US$25million in a placing at a price of 170p. Today the share price is 220p, a near 30% increase. Escher has won five contracts since the IPO, with the most significant being a US$50m contract with the United States Postal Service.
Commenting on the award Liam Church, CEO, said: “We are thrilled to have received this award, which is testament to the hard work and determination of our team around the world. The year since our IPO has been a transformational period for our business and it is an honour to have our efforts and successes recognised in this way.”
